A regular festival punter who this year has tried benidorm €2 a pint, racing on in every bar & hotel better weather & cheaper for a week here than 2 days at cheltenham

Very well made point which is completely correct but it’s not just racecourses

Totally agree with you. The reason crowds are down is that the racecourses do not provide a good service for customers. Just like bookmakers who all complain about horse racing being a low margin product; and therefore do not want any growth there and direct customers elsewhere.

Well said Geoff all the drug dealers and money launderers gone to Benidorm to watch the racing this year rather than try to get their mates to swap cash for a transfer and who can blame them
