The distillation step is the whole product — a memory file that stores everything is just a slower search index. What's your rule for what gets promoted from raw notes into the brain, and what gets discarded?

memory.md only works if you distill, not dump. Raw logs bloat context; a short reusable insight file is what actually shows up next run.

You can use hindsight memory and it works perfect with hermes, also chromadb

This is the exact gap most non-technical business owners hit. They save everything — notes, chats, docs — but never distill it. A second brain isn't more storage, it's a compression step: raw history in, decisions out.
