For the Igbo brethren in diaspora Omenala=Culture Odinala=Tradition Odibendi=Heritage

Omenala - The process or “How” culture is carried out in a way that is unique to the people Odinala- The pillars or the “what” of culture that make up the life of the people e.g marriage, burial, naming Odibendi - The special, recognizable acts that subgroups are known for

If I was to go for Igbo lessons right now, I will gladly sit in this woman's class for hours and not get bored. She's very good at explaining. Igbo amaka.

Odiebendi"let's stop modernizing this spellings

Good info here. I hadn't heard of Obidendi before... Omenala/Omenani is more like our Constitution if you like. Odinala/Odinani is more of our religious rites, and in its uncorrupted form has similarities with Mosaic Laws & Precepts. We just need to Decolonise #Igbo living 😍

Very insightful. Before now, I know the meanings but e just de my head 😁. I can’t express it but now, I can rightly do so. Thanks for sharing
