Religion is the science of ignorance and stupidity …

Absolutely, I 100% support this position. There’s a rational explanation for everything!

Religion gives people hope and a peace of mind in their personal lives. You can deal with the burden while others will be free with a coping mechanism.

“Science doesn’t tell us why the Big Bang happened, how the singularity occurred in the first place, or why it exploded when it did. It tells us there is objective scientific evidence that it occurred. So, what exactly was the Big Bang?” – Book III The Enigmatic Mystery

Religion is about belief. Science is not.

Believer: "God exists" Atheist: "god doesn't exist" Agnostic: "I don't know"

💯

Religion, just like science, can be rational or dogmatic imo. Devotion to a humble, flexible truth (where we don’t lean on our understandings) and unbiased/impartial consideration (kindness) reflect tenets of rationality whether it be religious or secular in my view.

Meh - it’s a boringly predictable targeting of literalist theism. It simply doesn’t have any relevance to non-theist non-literalist models, (Spinoza, etc).
