The problem in our society is low self - esteem and lack of self confidence. Authenticity is key. Please just be yourself and speak the way you normally do. Those of you mocking him for forcing an accent I want to tell you that he’s not faking it. When you live, work and speak mostly with white people your accent slightly changes by default. You begin to pronounce words the same way as they speak. It comes naturally.
