Hard pass. Anyone who doesn’t eat bacon with their fingers is an asshole.

lol the women was taught good table manners and comes from a typical normal family. The guy was raised by his white trash hillbilly parents who probably help out the Budweiser kids through college instead of their own.

It’s true. A lot think it was taxes but that was a very small part but this was the main culprit

Well yeah, there was that small tea-in-the-harbor incident… but this “prim and proper” attitude is the type of thing that starts revolutions. I bet that traitor Benedict Arnold ate like this.

I was taught to eat like her and I was raised on a farm in Pennsylvania. Anything less is animalistic behavior.

I know I’m in the minority her, but I’m with her. My dad’s family immigrated to North America after WW2, so proper utensil usage was taught from a young age. I used one of these as a child.

Cutting your bacon should be grounds for deportation.

Complaining about how someone uses silverware is the same as not being able to use or read cursive. Its called home etiquette it isn’t strictly a British thing Americans use cutlery like this too just because you eat eggs with your fingers doesn’t mean the whole country does too.

One is sufficiently civilised to know how to use cutlery correctly. One isn’t.

I'm guilty of this though it's usually because my bacon is covered in syrup and I don't like my fingers covered in syrup.

Unfortunately nowadays we don’t see too many people with table manners… I used to take my dates to a steakhouse to see is she could use the knife… you’ll be amazed how many of them failed

" You don't need a knife to cut your bacon!" You also don't need to use toilet paper either, just wipe the shit off with your hand. Good table manners are to show politeness to your guest, you fucking barbarian

Some of y’all didn’t have “tea parties” with your grandparents that involved elaborate cutlery and how to use it properly (nor go to cotillion lol). One is simply informal eating (correct for the situation/location) and the other is more formal dining etiquette.

Retards need to stop claiming shit like this as country vs country when its actually personal preference. I'm from the UK and eat bacon by picking it up bc it's impractical slice. The backwards fork thing is also an upper class etiquette that most people in the UK don't follow.

If you call scrambled eggs a omelet you probably cut your bacon with scissors.
