Nationalists are raising concerns that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay’s decision to refer to the Central Government as the Indian Government fuels separatist tendencies. As a fellow nationalist, to be honest, I do not see it that way. In fact, I feel the term Indian Government is more compelling, captivating, evocative, and emotionally resonant for patriotic Indians than Central Government or Union Government.
