so can someone tell me what is going on in this scene, what led to this scene and what comes after?

Claudia did a lot of questionable things to bring back her dad back to life, and he did some terrible stuff that now, after a 2nd chance to live, he regrets, so he goes back to his home where he's def not welcomed to sort of redeem himself and his actions +

+ that’s why she's saying that "you can't leave" and "i saved your life", because she sacrificed everything for him, but he leaves anyway. And after that he's imprisoned and she's kinda lost on what to do now with her life. A looooooot happens, i'd recommend watching the series!

They really managed to fuck up this scene. Him randomly turning around extended it pointlessly. A stronger effect could be achieved by either saying he loves her and walking away or just silently walking away. A real waste of a scene that was well performed by the woman.
