Tom Holland says Christopher Nolan sat down with him to talk about how happy he was with his work in ‘THE ODYSSEY’ after the movie was done: “With Chris, he’s able to kind of inspire this endurance to try and impress him and do your best work. And it means a lot to me now that the movie is done, we sat down and he chatted about how happy he was with my work. So for me, everything that I was working towards all those days on set kind of accumulated right at the end.”

.Pete Hegseth, while getting booed, uses the opportunity to blast every single “liberal” in America, not just the Marines attending the event: “It's people like you who ignore the NOISE, and you do your job — and you do it with courage, and you do it with professionalism, and you do it because you love your country.” “Which is why you raise your right hand in the first place. It's why you put this uniform on to begin with. It's because you, this town, love to talk about elites and there's a lot of famous people in this town. But when I talk about elites, I'm talking about all of you.” “The real 1%, the real 1% of America who raised your right hand to serve something bigger than yourself when you could have done anything else” Exactly. 🇺🇸

NEW: Bill Maher leaves journalist stunned when he tells her the “End Racism” message in the NFL end zone does nothing to end racism. MAHER: “I noticed that at the Super Bowl, they’re, for the first time in, I think, four years now, the Trump administration is making them take away ‘End Racism,’ which they had written in the end zone.” TARA PALMERI: “But why? It just seems silly.” MAHER: “To do it or not to do it?” TARA PALMERI: “Why get rid of it?” MAHER: “Oh, I could tell you why. Because it was stupid to begin with. But let me ask you, who is it for? And if you’re a racist and you see ‘End Racism’ in the end zone, you’re gonna stop being a racist?” TARA PALMERI: (Stunned) “But the sentiment is basically like, don’t be an asshole.” MAHER: “But I think it’s an asshole to nag us during a football game about something that doesn’t change anything. If I’m not a racist and I see it, it doesn’t matter. And if I am a racist, it’s gonna make me more of a racist.” BYRON DONALDS: “Look, I think if you write ‘Don’t be an asshole’ in the end zone, everybody will agree with that.” (Round of Applause)

Clint Eastwood on why other people's opinions don't matter: Clint is asked whether he worries more now, or less, about what other people think of him as a person. He says: "I don't really worry too much about that. People have to think what they think. You can't go out and sell some image to them. That would be false to begin with." He continues: "So you just go ahead and do your work and people will form an opinion about you, good, bad or otherwise. It's up to them. It's not anything you can control anyway. So why bother with it? Why worry about it?" Then he lays out the only standard worth measuring yourself against: "If you live your life and you try to do as well as you can for your community, and be helpful, and do the best work you can, be the best mate or parent you can, then that's the best you."

Jimin knowing every step in jungkook’s night routine ☺️ 🐰 Anyway, what’s the answer (routine before going to sleep)? 🐥 In the end, it’s your phone. 🐥 You look at your phone, and in the middle you always go to the bathroom once. 🐥 You lie down, go to the bathroom once, then come back and lie down again. 🐰 That sounds right. 🐥 And I usually fall asleep first, so I haven’t really seen you fully fall asleep. 🐰 You know me well. 🐥 Of course. I was forced to watch you for a year and a half in the military ☺️

Steve Young on Brock Purdy’s injury: “It’s the ligament in the big toe. He’s a righty so it’s on his right foot and that’s the plant foot… The whole throw is through your right big toe if you think about it. So for Brock, you saw him last week, he had to stay off of it. So what you do is you start your throwing motion, and you can’t dig in with your toe, so you come over the top like a catapult, so all of a sudden your throws are high and not as crisp. So you have to manage.” 🎥: PTI

Kemi Badenoch says what is going wrong with Britain's economy is the “huge number of people who can work who don't work”. Laura Kuenssberg repeatedly asks her a very simple question: how many? Badenoch says the Conservatives have the data, but she doesn't have it with her. She then pivots to disability, “One in four people in our country reporting as disabled. That cannot be right.” My view: Why has Britain become so much sicker? Long-term sickness-related economic inactivity increased substantially after the pandemic. Covid did not simply disappear when politicians stopped talking about it. Long Covid can leave people with disabling fatigue, breathlessness, cognitive problems, pain and other symptoms lasting months or years. Around two million people in England and Scotland were still reporting Long Covid symptoms in the last major population estimate in 2024. Add NHS waiting lists, delayed diagnoses and treatment, worsening mental health, musculoskeletal conditions and other chronic illnesses, and it is not difficult to see how more people can end up too unwell to remain in work. Yet at the same time, Covid surveillance has been scaled back dramatically and Long Covid has largely disappeared from mainstream political discussion. So Badenoch is right to ask why so many people are now living with disability and long-term illness. But that makes her failure to quantify the supposedly “huge number” of people who are perfectly capable of working but simply do not even more important. Being disabled is not the same as being unable to work. - Millions of disabled people already work. And being economically inactive because of long-term sickness does not automatically mean someone could simply return to work tomorrow. If politicians genuinely think Britain has too many people becoming sick or disabled, the answer should begin with prevention, healthcare, treatment, rehabilitation and making workplaces more accessible. The question should not just be, “Why aren't these people working?” It should also be, “Why are so many people becoming too ill to work in the first place?”

#WATCH | On L&T Chairman SN Subrahmanyan advocates a 90-hour work week, Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra says, "I have a huge respect for Narayan Murthy and others. So let me not get this wrong. But I have to say something. I think this debate is in the wrong direction because this debate is about the quantity of work. My point is we have to focus on the quality of work, not on the quantity of work. So it's not about 40 hours, or 70 hours or 90 hours. What output are you doing even if it's 10 hours? You can change the world in 10 hours... I have always believed that you have to have leaders and people in your company who make wise decisions and wise choices. So the question is, which kind of mindmakes the right choices and right decisions? And I think a mind that is exposed to holistic thinking, thinking that is open to inputs from around the world, that's when you'll make a good decision. If you don't spend time at home, if you're not spending time with friends, not reading, and don't have time to reflect, how will you bring the right inputs into making a decision?... I don't want it to be about quantity. Ask me what's the quality of my work. Don't ask me how many hours I work...."

'Why are you crying, it's just Yawn by Seventeen?' Listen to this until the very end of the song, and you'll know the answer to your why. The instrumental and the hidden vocals are so detailed and enormously beautiful. Also, notice that there's a breath sound only at the first line of Woozi's 하-하-하-하품 (yawn). The second line 하-하-하-아픔 (pain) sounds clearer than the first line of the bridge. Followed by the beauty of Joshua's vocals harmonized with Woozi's high notes as the background vocals. Indeed, music is not just about the sound; music has many layers. It's also about the story behind it and the hidden details that make the song itself beautiful. The more you explore music, the more you'll find the beauty in it.

Angela White says some men get so caught up in the pressure of working with her that they can struggle to perform. “They kind of get freaked out about the fact that I’m Angela White and they start thinking about how many guys I’ve fucked, and guys with big dicks, and guys who are really skilled and they think, ‘Am I going to be big enough? Am I going to be skilled enough?’” “Sometimes that can happen. Like a guy will get so in his head, like he’ll just freak himself out and not be able to get hard.” “I’m working with Angela White, like I’m new in the biz, so I need to perform my best.” “And so then all of those pressures actually affect their wood.” Her solution is to remove the audience and bring them back into the moment. “Don’t think about the crew, just be here with me right now.” “Always about bringing someone back to the present moment.” “Just like soothing them, calming them down, like reminding them that, you know, we’re just two people, like trying to get each other off.” “So they’ll sometimes they’ll end up with a raging hard-on in the other room and then I walk them back out in front of the crew.”

Quentin Tarantino to a journalist: "I'm not your slave, and you're not my master." Journalist: "Why are you so sure there's no link between enjoying movie violence and enjoying real violence?" Quentin Tarantino: "Do not ask me a question like that." Journalist: "Why?" Tarantino: "Because I refuse your question." > "I'm not your slave, and you're not my master. You can't make me dance to your tune." When the interviewer pressed him further, Tarantino responded: > "I'm here to sell my movie." > "I don't want to talk about the implications of violence." > "I've said everything I have to say about it." The tense exchange took place during an interview with journalist Krishnan Guru-Murthy while promoting Django Unchained. Do you think Tarantino was right to refuse the question, or should filmmakers answer questions about the impact of violence in their movies?

This was my third Major, irl. And it increasingly gets harder not to love this game. Even harder not to appreciate the people around it! I’ll never lift a trophy. I’m not hitting 3000 elo either lol 😭 But that’s fine. Why? Cause every CS event reminds me that following your passion and putting in the work actually does pay off. Not in trophies, but in fulfillment. I’m incredibly fortunate that a hobby turned into something I get to work with. Mostly because of the people along the way, many of whom became friends. Thank you, Counter-Strike.

Mike White, the writer, director and producer of The White Lotus, talked about #LISA, her casting and willingness to work with her again in the future. "I know this sounds crazy, but I did not know who Lisa was. [...] I did not know Blackpink. [...] But then she came in and auditioned and she was just so lovely and she couldn't have been a better actress. [...] She brought a lot of attention for the show and she's been an incredible ambassador for the show. [...] She was just a great person to work with and I would work with her again. I think she's gonna have a huge acting career beyond, you know, obviously all the other things she's doing. [...] and also somebody who's got massive fame already, it’s not something that I usually do because it feels a little like stunt casting. [...] I try to be meticulous about making sure we're casting the right person for the part but her audition was the best." #TheWhiteLotus LLOUD #LISAxTheWhiteLotus
