🎥: At 2:17 p.m., Omaha Fire was called to a water rescue at Benson Park. A car went into the water and was fully submerged. The OFD Dive Team was called to the scene to assist. Crews were able to extricate one person from the water. A tow truck assisted in pulling the car partially out of the water. Medics transported the victim Code 99 (CPR in Progress) to Nebraska Medical Center. The victim was in the water for approximately 25 minutes.

NEW: Chicago police open fire on the driver of a wanted vehicle in Humboldt Park. According to police, the white Mercedes was possibly linked to a shooting that happened on Monday. When officers tried to stop the vehicle, the man started driving before allegedly hitting a woman and crashing into a CTA bus multiple times. "The vehicle struck an adult female pedestrian in the street and continued to flee... [He] struck the bus multiple times with the vehicle and struck an unmarked squad car," police said, adding that a gun was recovered from the vehicle. "As officers attempted to stop the vehicle and place the driver into custody, one officer discharged their service weapon, striking the offender." The man was hit in the chest and taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The family of the man claims he was getting food when he was "swarmed by officers" and says they thought police could have done more to de-escalate the situation. ALERT: Lifeguard shocked after he heard a huge splash and saw a Tesla in the middle of a public pool in Connecticut. The driver says he was trying to park when his car suddenly accelerated, causing him to crash through a fence and plunge into the Steve Benko Pool at Waveny Park. Lifeguards and emergency crews quickly rescued the driver, fearing the water would rise above his head. Luckily, the pool was closed at the time, and no one was injured during the incident.

He then proceeds to kick the vehicle and challenge the driver to a brawl. The driver gets out for a minute and has words with the attacker before getting back into his vehicle to drive off. The man then steps in front of the vehicle as the driver floors it, giving him a ride on the hood of his car for the length of the parking lot. Play stupid games……

A man who was sitting on the supporting concrete wall of the bridge, and was nearly struck by the falling vehicle, jumped into the water out of fear of being hit. Eyewitnesses quickly sprang into action, helping to rescue the man from the submerged vehicle.
