Bronny James Highlights vs Clippers : 17 Points 6-10 FG 3-5 3PT 5 Rebounds 5 Assists +5 +/- Bronny was easily the best player on both ends for the Lakers tonight. When he comes off the floor the Lakers Summer League team, they just look really bad. And as soon as he is inserted back, the team gets life once again, very impressed by how much he grew his game confidence wise. Dalton Knecht really stunk up the Summer League which I feel helped Bronny in a way because he had to take over as the main guy since Dalton could not just find anything at all to get going.

Exhibit A proving college football has been made far worse by the 12 team playoff… The year is 2013. Alabama and Auburn have won the last 4 national titles. Alabama is going for 3 in a row, but they 100% need to beat their rival away from home in the Iron Bowl. What results is the sports’ most memorable/exciting moment of the 21st Century. Alabama was eliminated and their reign ended. Auburn made it to the national title game. Today, both teams would know they were in the playoffs regardless of the outcome, and this iconic moment becomes more comedic than significant. ESPN has taken so much from us in their money grab, and we have gotten very little in return. 😡🤮🥲

People can have their takes on Rui, but one thing you gotta do as a Laker is show me. Show me when the lights are bright. Rui did it in his first playoff game as a Laker. 30 points and 6 boards. Dunkin on the DPOY. Clutch 3 after clutch 3. Most efficient shooter in playoff history. He gave me endless migraines, had poor defensive possessions, boxing out and had tunnel vision driving to the rim. But one thing no one can tell me is that he wasn’t a playoff riser. I know what I watched (except G2 vs. Denver 2024. We’ll forget that). He’s a player I’m taking the good with the bad. Thanks for the memories, Big Hachi. Hope you find your way back on the home team one day. 💜💛

Harris's message to those who would like to go back to the Trump economy because inflation for instance was low: "Well, let's start with the fact that when Joe Biden and I took office during the height of a pandemic, over 10 million jobs had been lost. Regional Manager for DMV needs to stay in her lane as she loses it over being on camera. When public servants are confronted with the very Constitution they are sworn to uphold, the response shouldn't be ignorance and evasion. Yet, that is exactly what unfolded at the West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles regional office in Charles Town, located in Jefferson County. An independent journalist exercising their protected First Amendment right to film in a public government facility is immediately met with hostility, unlawful demands, and a complete lack of basic legal comprehension by the staff on duty. The incident quickly escalated when the facility's Regional Manager, identified as Lorraine Thompson Vangosen, and the on-duty security guard approached the journalist. Rather than conducting themselves with the professionalism expected of public employees, both individuals displayed a stunning lack of understanding regarding constitutional law and citizen rights: Lorraine and the security guard aggressively asserted that filming inside the DMV was strictly prohibited, demanding that the journalist delete the recorded footage. Staff attempted to claim that because other citizens' faces were on camera, it created an expectation of privacy that violated public service policies. In a public government building, there is no reasonable expectation of privacy in open, publicly accessible common areas. This woke me up this am, a text from my uncle. “Everyone is complaining that baseball is broken because the Dodgers got Tarik Skubal.” Bruce Harper says it best here. I don’t remember people complaining about a needed salary cap in MLB when the Yankees were winning 4 World Series in five years between 1996-2000. But the Dodgers start winning World Series, which they had not won for 32 years, a span from 1988-2020, and now everyone wants a salary cap and is complaining. Thats called an East Coast Bias. 💯 It’s not the Dodgers fault, as Bryce says, that they have perfected everything. Their farm system is the best, their tv contract is the best, their players are the best and fit the mold they are looking for. They have one of the best stadiums and their tradition is right up there with the Yankees and Red Sox. The Tigers made a terrible trade. Zyhir Hope is just another Raul Mondesi/Yasiel Puig player. He wasn’t even in their top 3 rookie outfielders like De Paula, Tibbs and Sirota. And, River Ryan and Brady Smith have already both had Tommy John surgeries in their young careers. The Dodgers were thought to have at least given up Emmet Sheehan, a ready MLB pitcher AND the prospects. Nope! Every other team like the Yankees, Braves, Cubs, Brewers, Phillies and Red Sox could have made an offer, a better offer, but they chose not to. MLB doesn’t need a salary cap what they need is for Major League Baseball to take control of all the teams TV rights and then distribute the money from those deals evenly across baseball, not just a percentage, but evenly. It’s those TV contracts where you see the biggest disparity and that would take care of that disparity immediately. Don’t blame the Dodgers because they have perfected everything. Blame other teams for running a poor organization. I waited 32 years for this. I’ll enjoy it.
