Character Education is more suitable for the Parliament & DUN. For students; keep their mind busy with learning & old school discipline - respect the school, the teachers & fellow students. If you can't do that caning is an option together with expulsion. No more molly coddling

In fact, during the 1970s and 1980s, Pendidikan Tatarakyat dan Pendidikan Sivik already part of Malaysia’s school curriculum yang menekankan kepekaan tentang makna kewarganegaraan, pembangunan moral dan sahsiah. kenapa tak kembalikan matapelajaran ini?

How about a subject called EMPATHY. Learn to trust the person beside you. Care for them. And let them trust you. Preschoolers learning about character is too self-centred. Adds to the problem.

Useless effort to be honest. Kids these days are too free. No exam. No consequences for misbehaving. Some dont even have parental controls. They live as free as they want. What do you think happened when human lives too free? They become uncontrollable

For preschoolers..thinking it’ll work by shoving it as a subject. You’re should apply it into the preschool/school structure as a daily routine so they learn moral values by action indirectly.

Should include proper sex education and family values and responsibility in the subject. Respect own body and also others in the society must be taught in school and at home!

Reducing the emphasis on the Agama or Moral period might be better, as it doesn’t seem to contribute much to nation-building. Additionally, dividing children in school and teaching them different syllabi doesn’t really help.

We should reduce irrelevant subjects. Just drop it. In engineering, they restore old, tried & tested structures & make it even better. Introduce physical games, football, netball, volley ball etc. Let the kids have fresh air and reduce aircond bills ok. Racial mix of teachers.
