This man was criticized for expecting a “thank you” for a good deed. He always saw the same man walking when he drove to work. He assumed the man was walking because he did not have any other means of transportation. He used his own money and bought the man an electric scooter, the man took the scooter and just silently walked away, no thank you or anything else at all. I don’t think that was too much to ask, a thank you goes a long way, otherwise it makes people look ungrateful. Back in college, I had a classmate that I always saw walking home after class. It didn’t matter whether it was raining or snowing, or hot out. Whenever I drove past him he always looked miserable and I could tell he didn’t like to walk all the time. In class I had asked him where he lived, and I found out it was on my way home so I offered to drop him off because it was really cold out and had snowed about a foot. He agreed and we chatted on the way home, nothing serious just pleasant conversation. I dropped him off and went on my way home. For me this was a one time thing, I only offered because how bad it was snowing. After class the next day, he walked with me and when I got to my car he got in. I didn’t agree or offer him a ride that day but he assumed that since I was ok with giving him a ride the day prior that I would be ok with it this day too. I didn’t say anything about it because at this point I didn’t care really. So the next day came and went, once again he walked with me to the car but that day was different. I wouldn’t be going his way because I had to work after class. So before I got to the car I said “I’ll see you tomorrow.” He looked dumbfounded and said aren’t you taking me home? I said no, I have to get to work. He then asked me how he would get home, and I told him the same way you always have. He then gave me excuses for why I was being a jerk because I was making him walk in the cold. I really, really, really wanted to drop this song last year. When I first put out the snippet, I was so excited - but it was hard to finish it on time because everything was a blur. I was sick and weak and nauseous and tired and my body just wouldn't do what I wanted it to. Even in the snippet video, I wasn't feeling great. I was just trying my best. I adore Chike's voice and I knew it was him that had to be on the song with me. When I asked him to give me a verse, he was so ready to go, but he was out of town. As soon as he came back, he came over to my studio the next day 🥹. I got a lotta respect for him. He didn't know I was pregnant and suffering 😅 Watching this video back now, I can't even understand where the energy came from. When the song was done, I struggled to mix it. Even so, I decided to master it myself. I hate mastering, so I don't know what I thinking. I was so disappointed that I couldn't meet the deadline. Everyone had fallen in love with the song and was asking me to put it out. I didn't have the energy to make content. I don't even remember them recording this video. Given how much I love this song, I'm a little bummed I couldn't give it energy it deserves. But please, know that a lot of love and resilience went into this song. Robert De Niro originally wanted to play Max Cherry in Jackie Brown, the role that eventually went to Robert Forster. However, Quentin Tarantino had written the role with Forster in mind and had already promised him the part. If I paid $51000 for a car and the dealer already cashed the check and had it in the bank for 11 days, I better already have my car. Unlike this dealership who kept pushing back the delivery date and eventually refused to give this gentleman his car he already paid for. To me it sounds like they sold it before he picked it up. I remember during the hurricane Katrina days and I left the insurance office to clear my wind. I just got off a difficult call and I felt so sorry for the insured. I left to go to Panera to get a bread bowl with some broccoli cheddar soup and a nice Sierra Turkey sandwich which was my favorite order. On the way there I spotted a beautiful pearl white new 2005 Cadillac Escalade at the Cadillac dealer. I wasn’t in the market for a new car but I decided to stop and take a look. One thing led to another and I ended up putting a deposit on the car and made an appointment to go back so I can discuss price and purchase. The sales man said I had to put the deposit down on it so they would hold it for me, I didn’t have the time to do it at the moment because I still had to go back to work. I went back on my off day a few days later only to not see it parked out front. I thought to myself maybe they are having it cleaned in anticipation of me buying it today so I didn’t think much of it. The salesman kept saying he will come get me when he was ready, he claimed it was a busy day for him. I kept waiting and waiting only to go back to his office and he wasn’t even there. I asked another employee if they could page him for me, I was getting impatient. That’s when I found out he left. I asked to speak to the sales manager and inquire about the car I put a deposit on and asked if it was being cleaned. He looked it up and told me they sold it two days ago. I said I was there two days ago and was told to put a deposit down on it so they would hold it for me. He said they don’t ever do that unless it’s a special order. He asked to see a receipt and I showed him my receipt given to me by the salesman. He looked confused because he said their receipt are never handwritten, they are always printed with my info, the dealer info, the car vin number and other info. This was just a generic looking paper receipt with my name on it and the amount. But it did have his name on it. They did refund me and asked to show me another car, I told him I was fine and I left. But I did drive an hour out of my way to a different dealer in Cleveland and ended up buying the same spec car from them. I then drove it back to the shady dealer and made them wash it for me since Cadillac offers free car washes for all Cadillacs regardless where I bought it.

I asked Dallas Mavericks GM Nico Harrison four questions today at his end-of-season press conference: Me: “You said me and Coach Kidd are aligned, you know the player(s) that he likes.
