"The Elements" John Facenda September 29, 1974

I remember watching this game on television. The teams couldn’t do anything due to the wind, rain, slippery turf. This game was a reason for dome stadiums. The final score was 16-12 Buffalo winning with Buffalo QB Joe Ferguson attempting only two passes the entire game.

Football was meant to be played in the elements.

Joe was 0-17 that day.

Checks out for the original Rich Stadium in Orchard Park & late September. We'll see how the new place holds up to WNY elements the remainder of autumn. 😉
