The notion that President William Ruto invented Kenya's public debt is misleading. This debt is a legacy from previous administrations, dating back many years. A thorough audit of Kenya's public debt is necessary to ensure fiscal responsibility.

Our enemies were in the last regime. Sad that out of 100 shillings collected, more than 60 bob goes to servicing debts. We need to understand our President and MPs are not our enemies, the enemy is debt and corruption we found left unaddressed by the last regime. We need to fix these and they are cancer we don't want to admit will take time and commitment to get over.
