That’s not how diplomatic immunity works. Iran cannot simply give “diplomatic immunity” to anybody willing to carry out terrorism in Britain. For diplomatic immunity to operate in the UK, diplomatic status has to be recognised by the UK. You don’t become immune from British law because Iran privately declares you its agent. These five are British nationals and, more importantly, Counter Terrorism Policing says they were released ON POLICE BAIL with stringent conditions and remain under investigation. If diplomatic immunity were the reason for their release, where is the evidence? Name which suspect has diplomatic status and provide the FCDO/credible source confirming it. Otherwise you’re inventing an explanation for their release when the police have already told us what happened: they were released on bail while the investigation continues.🤡
