I use a shure mic and I love it. Super easy set up and even the mic without filters isnt too shabby (Though mine does have filters)

Luke, congrats on the upgrades! Little tip about the acoustics. Buy 2'X4' acoustic panels. Load the ceiling with them. Place a throw rug or two on the floor. And if you still have some coin, put some of the acoustic panels on the walls. Guarantee it will work or your money back.

My.entire back wall is acoustic paneling and the floor is carpet. It's a 900sqft foot room with 2 mostly glass walls. It's just large. This mic helped a ton.
