The endgame for institutional privacy is that users barely notice it’s there. Mo: “The best technologies, you don’t see them, but you get the affordances of it.” “Imagine I could trade US stocks without being in the US without giving away my identity... that’d be amazing.” “In seven years...

@motypes A merchant shouldn’t have to think about which chain a payment crossed or how settlement cleared. Money arrives, the order ships, the day continues. The stablecoin part should be the least interesting thing about it.

@motypes institutional privacy”这个说法挺妙的,但真到“用户察觉不到”那天,估计就是数据被挖得连渣都不剩的时候了,想想有点后背发凉

@motypes The best privacy is the kind users barely notice. Concordium’s whole design is identity plus privacy without making everything public-by-default.

@motypes Institutional privacy needs selective proof so eligibility is verified without exposing identity and full positions to every counterparty

Iga Swiatek on constantly being filmed at Australian Open and other tournaments, ‘The question is, are we tennis players? Or are we animals in the zoo? It would be nice to have some privacy’ “I wanted to ask something that Coco was talking about last night. The cameras backstage at the tournament… I know you got filmed recently forgetting your credential… you’re sort of always on camera at a lot of different tournament areas.. I’m wondering if you think there should be more privacy for players and their teams as they’re back there? Or how you see the balance of that versus them trying to have entertainment and content coming out.” Iga: “The question is, are we tennis players? Or are we animals in the zoo? Where they are observed even when they’re pooping. Ok, that was exaggerating obviously, but it would be nice to have some privacy. It would be nice also to have your own process and not always be observed. For example, in other sports, you have some technical things you wanna do. It would be nice to have some space you can do that without the whole world watching. On Wimbledon there are courts where people with accreditation can get there but it’s without the fans. There are some tournaments where it’s impossible and you’re constantly observed. I don’t think it should be like that because we are tennis players. We’re meant to be watched on court and in the press. That’s our job. It’s not our job to be a meme when you forget your accreditation. It’s funny for sure. People have something to talk about. For us, I don’t think it’s necessary.” “Have you talked to the tournament about it here?” Iga: “What’s the point?” (via Australian Open Press)

Robinhood CEO: “Tokenization is like a freight train. It can’t be stopped and will eventually eat the entire financial system” Vlad Tenev finds stablecoins to be a useful analogy to explain the benefits of tokenizing real world assets like equities and real estate: “For stablecoins in the US, we talk about it as the best way to get exposure to US assets, and it will further what’s called ‘US dollar dominance’ abroad . . . we’re making it the default way to get access to dollars in the digital realm. That’s why stablecoins have been such a priority in the US, and if you do own a dollar stablecoin, it’s sort of like the most basic tokenized assets.” “In the same way that stablecoins are a bucket of dollars that you mint and burn tokens against, you can do that with stocks, real estate and other real world assets, private stocks . . . And I think it will become the default way to get exposure to US stocks outside the US. I think that’s what makes it so exciting.” This is why Robinhood announced in June 2025 at ETH cc that it would be moving into tokenizing stocks on Ethereum and building its own Ethereum L2: “Both [private and public equity] we’ve demonstrated. In the case of stocks, it’s live right now in the EU. So the only complexity remaining is making sure you have the appropriate licensure and the regulatory clarity in many jurisdictions, but I think that will come. It started in Europe, but it will expand to the rest of the world. Unfortunately, but realistically . . . the US will probably be among the last economies to fully tokenize. But I think it’s inevitable in the US as well.” Source: TOKEN2049 (Oct 2025)

Garrett Temple says the secret to lasting 16 years in the NBA is being low maintenance “I think it goes back to what we talked about earlier. Just understanding your role. I think it’s more difficult for highly touted guys, or guys that are just very talented, that can do a lot of good things and don’t get that opportunity right away. I think they may not be able to be adaptable.” “The talent level is immense. But the ability to be professional, and that’s general, but that means be on time, have a work ethic, be low maintenance. I think that’s the big thing now.” “Being low maintenance, which means not having anybody have to worry about you, or asking for too many things, or you being a prima donna, or things of that nature.” “Just being somebody that’s under the radar. I call it the ‘What do you need, Coach?’ player. When you can be that guy, and then once you get on the court you produce, especially on the defensive end, offensively you can make shots, miss shots, but if you produce defensively and you cause no problems, you only bring positivity to the team, it’s hard for coaches and GMs to get rid of you. It’s very hard.” “Those are all things you can control. It’s simple, but it’s not easy. Because you get in your head. ‘I was this dude, but you go three games without playing. The dude in front of me not even playing well. What are you doing?’” “The ego is so big in professional sports. You have to have one to get to a certain level, but you literally have to be able to turn it on and off.” “And once your mindset is about winning, the team winning, you can focus on doing whatever the team needs you to do to win. That’s the biggest thing that allows people to stay in the league.”

【📢Space: อันโดรเมด้า ชุน dunknatachai 】 #จุงดัง #JoongDunk #จุงอาเชน #dunknatachai 🐶we still get to see each other through social media all the time but i just want everyone not to worry. i want everyone to believe — believe in yourselves and also believe in us *JoongDunk — that one day there will definitely be a day that belongs to us : JoongDunk has a chance to have a fanco concert 🐶 actually i believe there will be, but maybe not right now. i think it will happen and if they can arrange the schedule, if they can manage things then… i’ll say this: schedule life schedule is the most important thing for us right now 🐶if there is a schedule where we can rehearse for a concert—really—i don’t want anyone to rush. i want everyone… i mean i understand, you want it to happen. but in the end, as for me as Joong—when i do a show, i’m very serious. i don’t want… i don’t like doing shows that are like… honestly, i don’t really—it’s not that i can’t do it, but i don’t like just singing a song and then moving on. you get it? you get it? i feel that if we do a show, it must have this and that, movements, moments, stories that connect together. if it’s going to be a real fancon, then rehearsals are very important 🐶so i just want us to have the time to rehearse until we are truly ready. that way, i would want to perform more. because. do you believe it? even though you guys are excited—my fans, you’re excited, right? about when there will be a fancon, wanting to see the shows and all that. do you believe it? me, as an actor, my only duty is to keep developing myself today, to be ready for the day it comes 🐶because suddenly, let’s say suddenly, two months from now, there could be a fancon. and i wouldn’t even know. “oh, it’s here already? how many days do i have to rehearse? 14 days? 7 days? 5 days? can i handle it? i must handle it. in the end, i must handle it.” but in the end, i want it to turn out the best, and the best for me, the best for us 🐶but i’ve already thought out the show! wait and see i’ve been waiting for years. i’ve thought about it all—the songs, the show, everything. but for now, it’s just a structure in my head, imagining how it could be. i’ve pictured it. i could already make 3–4 fancons from what’s in my head …. there are many themes—like which theme, this one, that one. right now i have about 3 themes. and if it still doesn’t happen yet, i’ll think up 3–4–5 more themes. it has to happen already! i keep thinking. and when the time really comes, when the higher-ups ask what i want, i’ll already have the vision. i’ll be able to show them: “this is what i thought. what do you think?” .. it’s very simple. it’s just that—i believe it’s not about being the fastest, it’s about the most suitable time. let’s wait for that moment
