Islam doesn’t just suggest unity—it commands it. As Allah says in the Qur’an: ‘Hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not be divided’ (3:103). And the Prophet ﷺ said: ‘A believer to another believer is like a building whose different parts support each other,’ and he interlocked his fingers to demonstrate. A single fiber is weak, but when many fibers are woven together, they form a strong rope. Likewise, a single brick is weak on its own, but when bricks are joined together, they form a strong building. True strength is in unity, not division.
