हिन्दी में तो इसी क्रम में है

Good one. But Hindi have same letters/alphabets as Sanskrit. क, च, ट, त, प, य आदि. In fact all Indian languages uses Sanskrit as base. Same letters/alphabets as Sanskrit in all Indian languages (ofcourse with little variations).

Hindi alphabets are in exact same order.

Wonder why sanskrit didn't have a script and so no written texts up until the devanagiri script took shape and originated only by around the 5th century AD. Sanskrit only had oral tradition

Sanskrit means PROCESSED. ✅

Om

Do not misunderstand my question - I know a fair amount of it & understand its importance - but my question is if Sanskrit is so scientific & well engineered why has it ceased to be an everyday spoken language by around 600 BCE? This needs to be examined.
