Will it apply to the .5 million in Spain who Sanchez just decided to make legal? And how exactly can this function w/o genuine border checks!? Answer: it can't. Ahmed, now legally in Europe thanks to Sanchez, can just cross into France and then Germany and nobody will know.

PS: What we need is Joint European decision-making so that insanity such as what Sanchez just did in Spain does not repeat. We should not allow a single Member State to undermine the entire Union and put all of us in danger by legalizing the presence of Islamists in Europe.

Long queues have built up at some airports around Europe as the EU's new digital border system comes into force. The Entry Exit System will now apply at every crossing point into all 29 countries in the Schengen area. It means travellers from non-EU countries like the UK must first register their fingerprints and photo as well as a passport scan.

We’ve also started this work in Europe, though not yet with all European countries. I proposed the Drone Deal for the EU – we discussed it with Ursula von der Leyen. But of course, this must be developed both at the level of European institutions and at the level of countries. It has to be a multi-level system. I believe all of us need bilateral Drone Deals. Stamps in people's passports will be replaced by biometric (face scanning & fingerprints) checks for people travelling in and out of the EU from Oct 12th. Anyone who refuses to provide the biometric data will be denied entry into the EU.

It warns against illegal and dangerous crossings, especially along the Caledon River, and urges foreign nationals to obtain proper documents from their home countries before travelling. The BMA also calls for public cooperation and more resources to help it carry out its mandate effectively.

BSF RESCUES 10 BANGLADESHI NATIONALS FROM DROWNING IN RIVER GANGA In a swift and courageous rescue operation, alert troops of 71 Battalion BSF, Malda Sector, saved the lives of 10 Bangladeshi nationals, including three children, three women and four men, after their boat capsized in the strong currents of the River Ganga. Among those rescued was a 30-day-old infant in critical condition, who was provided immediate first aid and rushed to the nearest government hospital. The infant is now reported to be stable and in normal condition. The incident occurred on the evening of 12 September 2026, when BSF personnel deployed near Border out Post Khandua noticed several persons struggling in the strong river current and at risk of drowning. Sensing the gravity of the situation, the troops immediately launched a rescue operation and rushed to the spot in a speed boat. After sustained and determined rescue efforts, BSF personnel successfully rescued all 10 persons from the river and brought them to safety. The rescued persons told BSF that they are residents of Joharpur village, Bangladesh, and were travelling from Chapai Nawabganj to Joharpur. While crossing the Padma (Ganga) River, their boat suddenly capsized, throwing all the occupants into the river. Owing to the strong current, they were swept towards the Indian side. BSF safely handed over all 10 Bangladeshi nationals to the troops of 53 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) after completion of all necessary formalities.
