The Equal Protection clause states that districts must have roughly equal population. Millions of people have left California since the last census, driven out by the cost and hassle of living under Newsom's ineptitude. Their new electoral maps are obviously unconstitutional.

WOW 🚨 Both the person who drew the new Prop 50 Redistricting Maps and the California Legislature said the purpose of them drawing the maps the way they did was to “increase the power of Latino voters” while taking away voting power from white people and other races INSANE “We have filed this lawsuit because the map enacted in Proposition 50 for California's congressional districts is unconstitutional. The map is designed to favor one race of California voters over others. This violates the 14th Amendment's guarantee of equal protection under the law, and the right under the 15th Amendment to not have one's vote abridged on account of race. Democrats are gambling the safety of the American people to slow deportations to try and preserve some of the political power they are in the process of losing. The deportations are taking population out of their states along with all the Americans who are leaving blue states and moving to red states. This isn’t them being so worried about people’s “rights”. California has the best weather in America. People are still leaving. Over the last decade, California, New York, and Illinois each lost roughly a million people, while Florida, Texas, and Tennessee gained nearly that many combined. Red states added jobs faster over the same period. $100 goes further in Tennessee than it does in New Jersey. California and New York have the highest tax rates in the country. Texas and Florida have no state income tax. The argument is that higher taxes and more regulation produce better outcomes for working people. The working people those policies were supposed to help are the ones leaving. Millions of people don’t make the same decision by accident.
