Earlier today, one of Campaign Against Antisemitism’s volunteers saw this individual dressed like a police officer standing outside the Houses of Parliament holding a sign that said “I support Palestine Action.” So, they promptly informed the police and an arrest was soon made. Palestine Action is a proscribed organisation under the Terrorism Act 2000. Impersonating a police officer is against the law. The law must be enforced. Anyone found to be in breach must face consequences.

In a significant escalation of their tactics, the protestors spoke one-by-one through a megaphone outside the Met headquarters. They declared their support for Palestine Action, their membership of the banned organisation, and encouraged the police surrounding them to join it too.
