Great job you’re doing! What’s needed is for the citizens to have transparency and control over what their governments are doing. This corruption is mostly due to a lack of control mechanisms and politicians who care more about their careers than their people.

it's not going to resolve on its own even in 20-50 years lol in Portugal they have stopped issuing renewals and got years of cases for initial residence permit applications all these "hanging" people meanwhile cannot leave Portugal even to visit another EU country
