After the changes in Hungary, there is clearly a new opportunity to strengthen relations both within the EU and between the EU and Ukraine. This sends a deeply troubling message to our region: that the door seems to open more easily for those going to Putin in Moscow than for those of us who see no other path or alternative but the EU.
