You need to make 11% a year just to stand still. Thats 8% currency debasement plus inflation, and only two asset classes have really cleared it... crypto and technology. My book The Everything Code is out November 3rd. It covers why an aging population forced the world into debt and why debasing the currency became the only way to pay for what we already owed. It also goes into my Exponential and Economic Singularity frameworsk... what happens when that debasement cycle collides with the fastest technology adoption in history, and where it all ends up. Heres me giving the cliff notes on Milk Road Crypto this week

Debasement drives everything. Nothing stops it until AI and robots replace population growth. Nasdaq has beaten the debasement rate by roughly 12% a year... a great asset to own, because tomorrow is always more digital than today. Bitcoin has beaten it by 89% a year. That's why crypto is the super massive black hole of asset allocation. It becomes the most powerful asset we've ever had. The greatest performing asset of all time. This is the crux of my Everything Code framework... why debt forces central banks to debase, why markets endlessly go higher, and why only tech and crypto beat it.

The Economic Singularity is not a metaphor. AI, robotics and blockchain converging into one event by 2030. Work, growth, investing... all rebuilt at once. The only real move is to use the tools and stay in through the compounding. New episode is up. As ever, please enjoy!

AI is making it faster than ever to ship code, but we’re often not translating that productivity into things people want to use. Joel Lewenstein asks: “What is actually worthy of the user’s attention?” Curation is your job as a designer, not the consumer’s. Watch our full Design Chat at South Park Commons

If your returns aren't beating 11% a year, you're getting poorer. Global liquidity grows about 8% a year. That's the money supply expanding, and it means the value of the cash in your pocket falls by roughly that much every year. Add maybe 3% of normal inflation on top and you get to an 11% hurdle. Most people think if they've beaten inflation they're fine. They haven't. Inflation and debasement aren't the same thing. Inflation is your money losing value against goods... rent, groceries, fuel. Debasement is your money losing value against assets... property, stocks, the things that actually build wealth. You have to clear both. This is the real reason the rich get richer and everyone else falls behind. One side owns the assets. The other side is holding a melting ice cube.

So WTF did the team behind Jupiter just launch? It's not an exchange. It's not a wallet. It's something new And it fixes everything that makes crypto hard to use. The Giant Unified Market (GUM) just went live. Here's what it actually is 👇

ELON: GROK 4 IS SMARTER THAN PHDs AND COULD INVENT NEW TECHNOLOGY THIS YEAR Elon said Grok 4 surpassed PhD-level intelligence in every subject, no exceptions. He admitted it still lacks some common sense but predicted it’s only a matter of time before it starts creating entirely new technology and even discovering new physics. “Grok 4 is better than PhD level in every subject. No exceptions. It has not yet invented new technologies or discovered new physics, but that is just a matter of time. I think it may discover new technologies as soon as later this year, and I would be shocked if it has not done so next year.” Source: Tesla Owners Silicon Valley

Global liquidity grows at roughly 8% a year. Sounds great right? Except that liquidity isn't organic growth... it's money being created to service the world's enormous debts. And every new dollar created makes the ones you already hold worth less. Add 3% inflation and you’re looking at an 11% hurdle rate just to break even. If your investments aren’t generating at LEAST 11% a year, you're not making money. This is why so many people feel like they can't get ahead... in real terms, they aren't. I've spent the best part of three decades trying to work out why the economy stopped working for ordinary people. Over time it all distilled into one framework: The Everything Code. Debasement sits at the heart of it... and the 11% hurdle rate is the crux of the whole thing. Once you understand it, you'll understand how to unfuck your future. For the first time, all of this thinking is in one place. My book, The Everything Code, comes out Nov 3rd... everything I've learned about how the system works, and how to end up on the right side of it, in plain English, for the people the economy stopped working for. Pre-orders are now open. I'll drop the link below.

Sahil Bloom reveals to make $1,000,000/year you NEED to create $10,000,000 of value for others “To earn $1,000,000/year, you have to create $10,000,000 a year of value. And if you do that, you actually probably will in some way. Like you'll probably capture enough of that value to make that money. But like value creation is what making money is about. The recipe for making a whole lot of money is not that difficult. It is just create value and then receive value. And creating value is just identifying problems, creating solutions, and then scaling those solutions. At all points in time, if you're trying to make money, you need to be doing one of those.”
