A half eaten apple, the cross that was placed on their clothes, and their name that was finally carved together. #TicketToHeavenEP4 ☆ That apple reminds me of the apple in Adam and Eve story. It's like a symbolic way of how they gave in to something that was considered as 'forbidden' ☆ The cross. I saw the hesitation in Tanrak's eyes when he took it off. I remember the day my dad got laid off. He came home early. Sat at the kitchen table. Didn’t say anything for a long time. 28 years at the same company. $52,000 a year. Same desk. Same commute. On Tuesday Sept 10th, I visited the NIPCO CNG conversion center along Airport Road in Abuja to inquire about the possibility of converting my car to CNG. To my amazement, I saw many commercial vehicles refilling their cylinders attached to the trunks of their vehicles, which prompted me to engage some of the drivers. One driver who really explained the benefits of CNG to me was a Bolt driver. He mentioned that he refills his cylinder for about 3k, which lasts him a maximum of two days. He also stated that he makes between 40 to 50k daily from his work. However, I was disappointed when he said that he still charges his passengers as if he were using PMS. He mentioned this with so much pride, as if he did nothing wrong. I noticed many Golfs and Toyota Corollas on the line to refill as well. It’s also worth noting that the conversion for commercial vehicles is free, courtesy of the federal government, while the cost for private vehicles depends on the engine capacity. If you have a four-cylinder engine, conversion costs about 750k, while a six-cylinder conversion is nearly a million naira (900k+). This explains why commercial vehicle owners aren’t really complaining about the hike in PMS price as much as private car owners—they have already rigged the system.

This runner at first was caught in a pick off move by the pitcher. Pitcher throws to first and the first baseman fires to second and the umpire calls him out. He looked safe on the play. However, the umpire admits he was safe but said he called him out because the other team was losing 10-0 in the first inning. He said “he was so safe but I just gave it to them.” Basically saying we gotta’ get the game moving right? Fellow umpires, some coaches and parents said they respect the call and why. But many people said you are cheating that one runner by calling him out. They said no matter the score you have to have integrity even if it is 20-0. They said this is why kids grow up disliking umpires and why parents act the way they do. Tough one- I actually understand where he is coming from but if that were your kid, would you want him called out? I say call the game the right way 100% and let it play out the way it is supposed to. How is the other team supposed to get better if you are giving them calls? Do you agree with the umpire and why he did it? Or, are you totally against that and that should never happen?

I was driving home a few days ago and randomly started thinking about Marc and wondering what he was up to. I hadn’t seen him in almost 10 years. This valedictorian at Cardington-Lincoln High School in Ohio said a good part of his graduation speech was removed before the graduation ceremony and that he was interrupted after not staying on script during the ceremony. You can see the principal walk up and shove him away from the podium. 😳 The school district said it followed proper procedures for graduation speeches and tried to create a positive experience for all the graduates. The Class of 2026 valedictorian, Brandon Hughes, said the message he wanted to deliver was aimed at students who may not always feel seen or felt excluded. “My message originally was never intended to be about the school. It was never intended to be any personal insult,” Hughes said. “My heart when I wrote that speech was truly about the kids who feel less seen.” Hughes said school officials required him to remove portions of the speech he submitted for approval. Brandon said his grad speech was meant to give encouragement to his classmates and to let them know that their futures are not defined by their high school experience. Also, when he opened his graduation envelope there was no diploma inside. He received it after the ceremony. His mother said she could see the look in Brandon’s eyes when he realized there was no diploma and it broke her heart. I think it is commendable that Brandon wanted to let the students who may not have had a positive high school experience know that their high school years are just a blip on the radar screen and to not let it define them. 👏 Good for you Brandon! I don’t see anything wrong with the message you intended to give. And I think it would have given someone who didn’t have a great experience in high school some hope. 💯 Do you think the school was justified in cutting him off and pushing him aside from the podium since they were following their protocol? They admitted him and immediately took him for his MRI. Dr. Cullimore knew what was happening before we even got there. They had just had 2 children with the SAME thing leave in the last two weeks with it, they came from the same ER as each other. One left a day before we got there…but it’s “rare” right? They asked all sorts of questions. So many tried to blame his daycare provider. I knew that would never be the case. Going to the Utah Football this week, I parked on top of a parking structure directly east of Allegiant stadium. There was a dude in a silver 2000s era Tacoma, set up with a bipod, camera, and in full tactical gear, looking over the crowd. Nothing said “police” on him anywhere. And given the terrible shooting that happened in Vegas, I immediately alerted the police. This is the video of a cop talking to him. I still don’t know what he was doing from that vantage point. I do not believe he was law enforcement. I admit I could be wrong. But better safe than sorry. Here’s the video.

Men are sexually assaulted by females everyday. It’s never “breaking news”. #Michaelraineyjr was sexually assaulted on live. He was extremely uncomfortable. She started groping him. He didn’t embarrass her, or push her off. He moved her hands off of him, and protected his private area. This happens to men a lot, it is always swept under the rug. Men start reporting them! Accountability needs to be held! This wasn’t her first time doing this. Women said “he smiled” that means he wanted it. WRONG! Some men do that because they’re embarrassed, and uncomfortable. It’s a nervous tick. Keep your hands to yourself! Men start choosing the “bear” too.
