Just move on, keeper got it all wrong, it’s a bad challenge, don’t think he meant it to end like it did, feel for mateta as it’s a horrible injury but we all know it’s a contact sport and we know injuries happen,if I believed lad meant to do it I’d agree but just got it all wrong

Meet Liam. School officials punished Liam for wearing a shirt that challenged the government’s narrative—a troubling example of free speech being censored. Don’t let your rights slip away. Get our FREE “Know Your Rights” guide and stand firm in your convictions.

That was a brutal challenge, reckless, dangerous and outright unacceptable. A high boot to the head, leaving Mateta needing 25 stitches is beyond just a red card; it’s career-threatening. If the FA is serious about protecting players, Roberts should get more than the standard three-game ban.

POTENTIAL BAN EXTENSION! The FA may increase Liam Roberts' ban for his red-card challenge on Jean-Phillipe Mateta.

Yeah attempted murder probably is worthy of abit more than a 3 game ban

Embarrassing it’s not like he’s just kicked him in the head for fun is it! It’s a contact sport sometimes unfortunate things happen! RATS

Completely avoided the first question about why Oliver didn’t give a red to begin with, couldn’t possibly ever criticise an official. The protection they get/lack of accountability is pretty shameful really.

“Whatever happens with VAR”. So in the previous round, where there wasn’t any VAR Oliver’s baffling yellow card would’ve stood and the keeper would’ve stayed on the pitch. That needs looking at too

The potential for a longer ban for Liam Roberts shows how seriously the FA is taking this red-card challenge. Dermot Gallagher’s insights on the issue will add clarity to the situation.

Lol 🤣🤣

@SkySportsNews Oh, the life of a goalkeeper—it's like trying to defuse a bomb with your hands tied behind your back! Liam Roberts found himself in a real pickle with that red-card challenge on Jean-Phillipe Mateta.
