@CFCShedy That one season wonder manager

@CFCShedy Hopefully Joao Pedro will reach this level next season

@CFCShedy @MTNNG who are they referring to in the video, cos I can’t watch it.

@CFCShedy NEVER liked him?! He loved him and they got along well, until Costa angled for a mid-season move away. They made up until the end of the season, after which Costa got the infamous "thanks for the seasono" text.

@CFCShedy You guys amuse me,you forget that costa's chelsea exit was engineered by himself,Conte loved Costa but after that attempt to abandon the team in January in the middle of a title chasing campaign made Conte furious and he never forgave since then.

@CFCShedy Conte na mad man. His singular dislike for him tanked his career as a manager at Chelsea.

@CFCShedy I think it more of character and relationships between them. Costa said something about what went wrong between them recently. “Sometimes he just got angry at everyone without doing anything to him” and Costa dont tolerate that he will react and question Conte.

@CFCShedy He is a top striker tbh

@CFCShedy Puzzled you? Costa was our main striker, yet during a run of 13 consecutive wins in January, he still wanted to leave. Football isn’t always as simple as results. Before then, Conte loved Costa.

There's nothing puzzling there. The same reason he axed Victor Osimhen at Napoli. He recognises the talent but you have to put your emotions in check at a top club. You can't find a manager axing Harry Kane or Lewandoski. A top striker that doesn't have his emotions in check can jeopardize your whole season. I personally believe one of the reasons Nigeria didn't win the Nations Cup was Victor Osimhen's altercation with Ademola Lookman that weighed in on the team spirit. Maybe not vividly very significant but it still did anyway.

@CFCShedy I have missed having this kind of power terrorize opposition defenders at Chelsea

@CFCShedy They are both hot-heads, they were bound to clash at some point. Costa was the last real striker we ever had.

@CFCShedy I just Imagined this Costa against Van Dijk, I laughed. Van Dijk really is lucky with the current generation of strikers and he still gets embarrassed sometimes too

@CFCShedy He was good but bro tried to force a move to China in January, in the middle of a title charge

It all came down to discipline issues, ego clashes, and a striker's fading commitment. Here is the story of how the explosive feud between Antonio Conte and Diego Costa tore apart Chelsea's title-winning strike force. In January 2017, while Chelsea were leading the Premier League race, Diego Costa's head was turned. He accepted a massive salary offer from Tianjin Quanjian and desperately pushed for a move during the winter transfer window. 🛑💰 Antonio Conte demanded Costa focus on Chelsea's title charge. Instead, tensions boiled over on the training ground. A heated, face-to-face shouting match erupted between manager and striker, leading Conte to drop Costa from the squad. 🤬💥 🗣️ Willian on the clash: "The ego and fierce nature of both men added fuel to the fire. Conte was a dictatorial manager who demanded absolute obedience, while Costa was a provocative figure who refused to be fully controlled." The climax? "The Text Message." Conte texted: "Thank you for the season, but you are not in my plans." Furious, Costa forced his exit at the end of the season—right after lifting the Premier League trophy together. 🏆💔 @ESPNnl Sad to see this happen, such an expensive PL trophy. he's been our best forward since Drogba era😔.

@CFCShedy After hazard and De bruyne, this is the worst decision chelsea has made in my 15yrs of support

@CFCShedy Are a truly a Chelsea fan Bcos Antonio conte used Diego Costa to win premier League before both of them had a fallout

@CFCShedy They had a falling out when Costa wanted to go to China

@CFCShedy He begged to leave Chelsea for China. Stop saying Conte wanted him gone when he didn't.

@CFCShedy We all know what Delap would've done here.

@CFCShedy @Joshua__Ubeku 2 bulls can not be in 1 kraal 😂😂🤞🏽

@CFCShedy He was defenders nightmare, he wore Drogba shoe and filled it with pride at standford Bridge in every game,but he became so carried away,fight for fowls instead of scoring the goals he usually does,this caused conte's anger on him.

@CFCShedy Not really his attitude after the January transfer window was wat pissed conte off… then after we won the league he was waving the fans good bye because he wanted to leave for money… season started and his deal fell through then conte decided he didn’t need a traitor

@CFCShedy Conte' and his Ego destroyed his career.

@CFCShedy lol one of my best time as a Chelsea fan🙃🥲

@CFCShedy Bro is left footed but his Right foot goal catalogue 🥶🥶

@CFCShedy Conte loved him. They fell out after he decided to abandon the team and go to china

@CFCShedy @iamcfcertifed Diegoal

@CFCShedy This is who I thought Delap was going to turn out to be. But he actually turned out to be a good wrestler. Win win

@CFCShedy Attitude !!!

@CFCShedy And he was top

@CFCShedy Diegoalssas 🔥

@CFCShedy Conte has a liking for deadwoods. Preferred Morata over Costa,Bakayoko over Matic,benched Fabregas in his first season. Look at what he did at Napoli,sold Kvara and Osimhen for Lukaku and Hojlund. Once he's done wrecking the squad,he finds an excuse to leave

@CFCShedy Conte is egocentric

@CFCShedy After watching Costa you want me to cry for Jackson
