The fact that Snape never attacked her and she was shaking when she first attacked Snape 😭💔 This scene also goes crazy when you realize Snape is redirecting the spells onto death eaters to k!ll them indirectly.

McGonagall’s hands shaking while she still fires at him hits harder than any spell in that scene, she knows exactly who he is and still has to treat him like the enemy. Snape refusing to throw a single curse back at her and just bouncing everything onto the Death Eaters is peak “I’m still on your side even when I can’t say it.” One of the most quietly devastating moments in the whole series.

I don’t think she knew, she was attacking with everything she got while knowing Snape is a stronger wizard than her, reason she was trembling

This is exactly why the original films are untouchable. You can't just recast a character with this much depth and expect people to forget the blueprint

I’m sure we should give HBO a chance and who knows it might turn out more better

😢We just didn't appreciate Snape until it was too late. He turned out to be JK's best written and deepest character.

The shaking hands hit different once you notice he never even points his wand at her. He just turns her spells into weapons against the Death Eaters. Quiet loyalty at its finest. 💔

Snape was one of the best soldier of the order of phoenix

Alan Rickman Forever.

And she was shaking the whole time 😭 meanwhile Snape was redirecting every spell to the Death Eaters… this scene hurts so much

Snape wasn’t trying to harm her

He never even pointed his wand at her. Just used her spells to take out Death Eaters. That's Snape.

The casting for the movies was perfect. So, so many great actors. Even with the not so great directors or writers, the actors absolutely gave it their all.

Snape was displaying mastery in deflecting magic

That bit where she is shaking while attacking him always gets me.

The Carrows weren't killed. But after he deflected spells on them, you can see he grabs their wands as he leaves too

The fact that Maggie Smith was diagnosed with cancer and still chose to complete the series for the fans. She will forever be Minerva McGonagall. Wands Up 🥺😭😩

Nunca me di cuenta de el detalle cuando Snape está preparando su huida, esos dos saltos a un lado y a otro para coger las varitas de los mortifagos, simplemente impecable.

To know they’re both gone in real life too 😩😭 they really did have a great story for each character.

He's literally the teacher whose abilities would have been enough to defy both Voldemort AND Dumbledore in a duel, of course he could manipulate a "fight" against McGonagall to their advantage by using her spell to take out the Death Eaters without them noticing.

My favorite part is that alan rickman knew before ANYONE else how his character ended because JK told him. And he used that to become one of the best characters in the entire franchise subliminally in EACH movie.

En los libros se especifica que snape es el mortifago mas poderoso y por mucho, ella lo sabe y por eso esta temblando, una actuacion espectacular por parte de ambos

So much aura between them in this scene

He never was a bad person

purely defense, redirects spells onto the death eaters, takes away their wands and dips...

This is the time to re-open the book now

He also steals their wands when he apparates out

Always gets me when she orders the protection of the school from the golem things. Hits hard

It was very emotional for her. She was intending to kill her colleague, ally and friend, though I use that last one loosely, of many years. They were teachers together for god knows how long, members of the Order of the Phoenix and whatnot. It was a very emotional battle for her but she acted. That's what matters. She stepped up to defend those kids.

He also took their wands after they went down so they couldn’t use them again, he bounced between the two on the floor before leaving through the window

Snape was too real of a nigga

snape forever

the real hero

The emotional damage from this scene increases every time someone points out another detail. 😭`ape's true intentions were hidden in plain sight the whole time. What hurts most is realizing neither of them really wanted that fight.

R.I.P Alan Rickman & Maggie Smith

Todas las películas de Harry Potter son perfectas. Una vez que entiendes todas las motivaciones detrás de cada personaje, puedes volver a verlas desde otro punto de vista sin aburrirte. Está dirigido para niños pero tiene muy buena escritura

I loved Snape out of all the characters 🥺💔

No los mata, los aturde, y antes de irse se ve como les saca las varitas para que no sean un peligro mas adelante, te quiero mucho Severus Snape

Bro was so good at this manipulating of a thing

A couple of years ago when r0bber$ broke into Kim’s hotel room in Paris and was atta<k£d and tied up. She thought she was going to get gr@p£d as she was in just a robe (n@k£d underneath) and that they would k!ll her so they’re would be not witnesses.😭 So she was terrified that when Kourtney would come back up to the hotel she would find her d£@ d and be stuck with that traúmǎtic event forever😭💔
