When escalators are provided they are usually for both the directions and are situated close to each other. Stairs are also provided. This is the fault of the architects of this building. I'd blame these people only if there are other options for going up nearby.

Be thankful they haven’t started worshipping it or smashing raw coconuts on it when it moves down automatically. For them anything moving automatically is no less than a miracle! 😂
