The problem is not that they put 7 of 9 in that fantastic spandex suit. The problem is that they left her in it for the duration. The suit was explained (in the story) as being a kind of 24th-century medical skin-sleeve. Worn to help her heal from the fact most of her Borg components had been surgically deleted. But after two or three episodes? 7 of 9 should have been in a regular ship's duty uniform, just like the Maquis before her. And for the same reason. The fact they kept Jeri in the spandex made the eye candy gimmick too obvious. And this diminished both the character and the series IMHO.
