According to Gen.Aronda, It was mandatory for all soldiers to exhibit discipline and professionalism Gen.Aronda Nyakairima emphasized that beating civilians was completely unacceptable and that all officers involved was to be taken to public courts to discipline them with the help of flying squad. Gen.Aronda said that all this was done to ensure that the relationship between soldiers and civilians is never tempered with. After serving as chief of defense forces (CDF) Gen.Aronda used his knowledge and skills acquired in the security upon being appointed as minister of internal affairs Gen.Aronda Nyakairima introduced National ID’s to the country Gen.Aronda said that once National ID’s are issued to citizens it was helpful in terms of security and to the banking sector
