Is it me, or are people becoming too easily offended now?

Sacked for an incident that can’t be dated, the victim didn’t find the remark offensive but somebody who overheard the remark found it offensive and reported. You couldn’t make this up if you tried, it’s hilarious.

Soft soft soft. Some people need to chill out. People say nasty things every single day in a work place. Go on a building site I see it daily. It’s harmless

Notice all the men on here condoning abusing woman.

Compare this to Huw Edward’s.

For balance, it may be worthwhile for these people to watch " Loose Women" occasionally to hear some of the comments made about men that are greeted with uproarious audience laughter. Or maybe they do and join in. But hey, it's only female banter for goodness sake.

if I was called a sexy b...tard I'm 51 I would be absolutely buzzing ...even though I know i am anyway

The BBC were caught paying a proscribed terrorist organisation to help make a documentary, they allowed calls for deaths of Israelis to be aired, they let an open antisemite present MOTD for 10 years, yet they sack someone for “allegedly” making one joke in a pub

Those who call this abuse are absolutely doing a disservice to everyone who have been abused. Is it inappropriate? Maybe. Either way this specific situation is extremely soft.
