The Fallout Show's setting frustrates me. By setting it in places where the games have already gone, they're forced to canonicalize certain game events. This robs players of the possibility that their game's ending was the "canonical" one. #oxhorn #fallout #falloutshow

I feel the exact same and I've been scared to say it because it upsets people. I wish they chose a fresh location. Or seperated the canon.

I can dig where you're coming from, but as long as they tell a good story I won't worry about canon too much.

I get where you're coming from, but it doesn't rob players of anything imo. You still have YOUR canonical ending from the game that you have played and loved. The show won't take that away & may even have a different canonical ending to any in the game.

Yes, but doesn’t replaying the game for a different ending do the same thing?

Guess what those same fans whining about that....want a New Vegas 2. Which would mean they would have to pick an official ending. Who cares. Any gamer smart enough understands that games with multiple endings are always subject to "your ending" not being legit.

I agree. As amazing as the TV series is, it would have been nice to have a fallout set in a different part of the US. The Carolinas, Florida, Texas, Mexico, and Canada would have been great settings for fallout storries. Im sure there are many more.

At least it's successful nonetheless, unlike the "Halo" TV show. Saying it right now is starting to get old, but I know it's true.

I agree, although for my head cannon I’m choosing to view the show as a potential ending but allows for space for my decisions I know the show has more implications for future games I figured I’d have time on my side for the justification and that the game may not tackle the events of the show as much.
