The farmers called me and wanted to bring all the grains and vegetables they farmed using the tractors. UPDATE | Haryana Police have crossed into Punjab to attack farmers, including shooting at a poster of the Chaar Sahibzaade, stomping on a Nishan Sahib, and defacing a portrait of Mata Gujri Ji, while also chanting the Hindu Nationalist slogan of "Jai Shri Ram," eye witnesses share. Farmers report that police have threatened to also kidnap the sisters and daughters of Punjab's protestors to marry them off. Police have been joined by suspicious individuals in civilian clothing that are also equipped with police weapons. Haryana Police have also kidnapped and abused elderly farmers in Punjab, crossing the border to break legs and carry farmers off in jute bags, farm leaders and witnesses share. This comes at the same time one farmer was shot and killed by the police. Farm unions are calling on Punjab's government to do more to stop cross border aggression. The farmers are holding at the borders between Punjab and Haryana, on their way to demonstrate in Delhi. The Haryana government is under BJP control, and has placed barriers to stop protestors and unleashed police brutality to attack farmers. #FarmersProtest2024

🛑🇧🇫- 500 tractors more for the farmers. Do you recall when Captain handed out about 500 tractors to the farmers? Well, a second batch of 500 tractors will be delivered again in the coming weeks, because, initially, the goal was to give them 1000 tractors. By the way, Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 manufactures its own tractors 🚜 alright? In fact, we even make 100% solar tractors. We may have oil underneath that we have not started drilling yet, but at least, we have the sun 🌞 free of charge. Why not use it ? It was thanks to the first batch of 500 tractors that the State was able to plow thousands of hectares of farmlands for our strong and courageous farmers at no cost. And now, we are already harvesting wheat and rice in abundance. We must achieve food self-sufficiency in a record time. We have no time to waste. We must feed ourselves and the AES shall be the breadbasket of the region. We will achieve food security because, we are very intentional about it. Mark my words!
