Working at the pizza place I’ve had some weird requests. Like this man here who didn’t have a stove and took some eggs to McDonald’s and asked them to cook it for him which surprisingly they did. He did pay her very well for the favor. I had a man come in who claimed that his electric was off because of the storm and he was in the middle of cooking a lasagna. He wrapped it up and brought it in and asked if I could cook it for him after he explained the circumstances. At first I was thinking I shouldn’t do it, I remember hearing it was against health code but I was in a good mood and many people did lose power so I decided to do it. I even added a little extra cheese on top and through in some garlic bread for free. The man knows I didn’t have to help him and most places wouldn’t but was gracious I did. I ended up gaining a long time customer with that gesture. I remember he came in one time to pick up a pizza and I ran out of cigarettes. I offered him money to run across the street for me to get some smokes. He said he would but he wouldn’t take my money saying he owed me a favor anyways.

I went sourcing for my rent, and I came back home a Landlord. My rent was due since March, I had pleaded with the landlord to give me some time to sort it out, and he had been patient. Business was not doing very well, and we were depending on my wife’s earnings to survive. I have a big brother who grew up in our neighbourhood. He was an artist at the time, and I used to hang around him while he worked. I developed an interest in artwork because of him, and he was my inspiration for studying sculpture and other art forms, which led me to become who I am today. This man had become a politician in another state. I had not seen him in several years, but we exchange messages via text and WhatsApp once in a while, especially regarding some artworks and politics. I never gave him the impression that I was struggling because I felt it would affect our relationship but I was desperate this time around and decided to go and see him. During the Night of Glory, as we ministered to the Lord and words of prophecy were being spoken, the man of God said “I have given it to you, I have supplied you with that heart desire. That thing you have been waiting for and trusting God for is now yours. Share your testimony with me when you receive it.” I heard these words from brother Gbenga, and I couldn’t relate. The only thing I had been thinking about in my heart was how to visit this mentor of mine and ask him for support regarding my rent. Hey Baron I’ll answer for Erika. As a mom that has kids and a husband who travels during the week and has kids in the bed occasionally…..my husband gets up early to get on flights. 2 or 3 am. I may hear my husband when he gets up but usually I just go back to sleep. With or without the kids in the bed. I don’t get up with him. As a matter of fact he hates it when I do. He says it makes it harder to leave because I tell him I wish he didn’t have to go and I’ll miss him and it breaks his heart to leave. Yea I admit it I do make it hard for him to leave. I always try to use my platform to help others. A year ago when I heard Rylyn Clark was struggling with Lyme disease, I wanted to make this song not only to brighten your day, but to raise funds to help him through his medical struggles.
