The fastest way to make a complicated subtitle sequence might be to stop making every text layer yourself. For this discount ad, I described the effect requirements to GPT-6 Astra. Countdown effects for the offer. Relevant emojis based on the content. A subtitle treatment that feels designed for the... ad instead of plain captions. Astra turned that into an SRT file. I imported the single file into CapCut PC with my footage, and the subtitle sequence was ready to work with. Then I could do the part AI shouldn't take away from me: editing. Make the text bigger. Move it. Change the color. Fine-tune the visual hierarchy. The result looks much more complicated than the process actually was. One SRT file handled the initial structure.
