From what I've gathered, it's likely that they were all developing and testing on computers with JP locale. Forgetting to consider EN locale for the worldwide release 🙃

Glorious. I was questioning why I was seeing illya flashback ghost images during the opening scene. 😆 Kinda glad none of my friends wanting to explore fate bought day 1. But also hilarious seeing changing locale to JP being a thing again. Blast from the past 🫡
