However, the hypostatic attributes belong uniquely to each Person. Only the Father is the Source that is why He is called Father. If you say the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son….then the Son also becomes a source and now u have two gods. The Holy Spirit proceeded from the Father alone. This is why we must declare with absolute clarity: There is one Holy Father, one Holy Son and one Holy Spirit. Only one Father. Only one begotten Son and Only one Holy Spirit who both came forth from the Father before all the ages. Coming forth from the Father like light from light…like thought from the mind without separation….without being two separate entities from each other but one divine essence.
