The Black Lives Matter protests of 2020 were mostly peaceful demonstrations against racial injustice and police brutality plaguing our country. They were a plea for justice, a push for change, and an equality cry. These protests were largely peaceful; any alternative claim is pure fabrication. Ironically, politicians like you, Marjorie, and Kevin McCarthy purport to care about constituents while exploiting the suffering families. It's distressing to see Ashli Babbitt's mother deceived by those pursuing personal gains through lies. Former President Donald Trump pledged his support to these people, professing love for them. Yet, when they faced peril, he merely observed from a distance. Moreover, he pocketed $250 million from these folks for his defense fund, which was later used for personal expenses. He could've used that fund for their bail or legal support, but chose otherwise. The time has come to expose the hypocrisy and deceit fueling such selfish acts. We need leaders who prioritize their constituents' welfare, and fight for what's right.
