What makes Themba Zwane such a special player is his intelligence both on and off the ball. His off-the-ball movement is special, you can watch the clip below, he’s constantly scanning, creating angles, dragging defenders out of shape, and arriving in space at the right moments. In the PSL, you often see players pass the ball and then switch off, standing still and waiting for it to come back, that’s usually a sign of poor football development. Zwane understands space, timing, and game awareness at a very high level. Do you know which other players in the PSL consistently show that same level of movement and football IQ?

Those trying to stereotype the North over the unfortunate attack on 3SC players in Kano should know that it happens in every part of the country. In April 2025, the same 3SC fans attacked Ikorodu City players and officials over a barren draw in the NPFL Matchday 32 game at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan, Oyo State. (Watch videos of the Ibadan incident below) A similar scenario played out in the same season’s Week 35 match between Rangers and Enyimba at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu. The match had to be suspended due to pitch invasion and attacks.
