(2/13) We want to clarify some issues, which we could have communicated more clearly, and answer the most common concerns:

(3/13) 1️⃣CineStudio does NOT impact the products you already bought. They’re yours; we will keep updating them without extra costs. CineStudio won’t affect the development and support of templates and motion design plugins. Whatever products you own, we will keep supporting them.

(4/13) 2️⃣If you own any of the CineStudio products (mFlare2, mTracker3D, mPuppet, mFilmLook, mTracker 3D Area, mO2), all of the above applies — nobody is taking them away from you, and we will keep them up to date.

(5/13) 2️⃣So you might try CineStudio and if you don’t like it, you still have the perpetual license products. Please get in touch with our support to receive a special offer for CineStudio.

(6/13) 2️⃣There is much to explore with 2 brand-new products, 3 new expansion packs, and all the expansion packs previously available (together, 12 expansions). We will also gradually grow the offer with new plugins and expansions. The first one is coming in November.

(7/13) 3️⃣Current owners of mO2 will be able to purchase mO3 under a perpetual license with a special offer upon release and a discount. mO2 packs will work in mO3. Certain new mO3 packs will be available outside of CineStudio.

(8/13) Some of you don’t feel like this model suits you. For others, it’s a chance to get access at a lower price. Plugins & expansions included in CineStudio would amount to over $2000, while here, you can have it for $19-24 a month. It lowers the bar to access our pro plugins.

(9/13) With hardware changes (Apple silicon), updates to operating systems, and host software (FCP), we want to ensure we have the resources to keep the products operational, up‑to‑date and always fill the gaps in Final Cut Pro without a need of charging for expensive updates.

(10/13) The subscription model allows us to develop new functionalities and release extension packs to provide the best possible quality. A significant part of the video software market has made this transition. Most recently, Final Cut Pro for iPad is offered as a subscription.
