The FDA today released visuals of Colaba’s Café Mondegar whose license it has suspended.

This is probably the cleanest kitchen i have seen in Mumbai. If this is considered bad then God help us. Mass shutdowns incoming.

Why are there gutters inside eateries? Have seen them in so many visuals. Does it mean that they are upon encroached land?

In my view, barely 1% of restaurants in India adhere to adequate hygiene standards.

I am 110 % sure Leopold will be worse than this .

The kitchen seems to be clean , during fast kitchen there will be some lacunae ,should see if they have any cleaning scheduled and other parameters . The slide shown is misguiding . At this rate no FBO will be visible in the food Industry only hwakers will

Similarly you won't be able to find one toll plaza which is well maintained. All sorts of juggad you will find on toll plaza like the roads they provide.

How is that @Tukaram_IndIAS & @AshwiniBhide are unable to see the filth in road side eateries & food stalls where people stand on footpaths to eat and drink?

We all had our share of good times at Cafe Mondegar ! Now looking at these visuals, I am feeling what all we ate ! They have taken us for a ride all these years ??

The rear area near the toilets was filthy. Had pointed out during our visit that it is not fit for use by ladies.

Road side footpath food is more hygienic than this

Good for a cleaner mumbai,need such people in every department that also take contractors to the coffers for the roads ,police, sewage
