I have two cats that sound like horses galloping when they run down the driveway

Its reminds me of a visit to the Great Salt Lake in Utah. There were so many small flies on the moist ground just outside the lake that walking past them made the ones close to my footsteps rise as a group. Their collective wing flaps were easily audible.
