the only reason this happened was they didn't use regulated fuel dispensers. Like in Indy. These were destined to fail. Refueling is so much safer now these days. Refueling should be brought back but limited to so many L per min, not these 10" hoses, but smaller hoses that would force them to fuel slower. You can see in the video the back flow check valve failed and thus the fuel continued to spray out.

@Motorsport_IT Which with a full tank at 700kg they would be somewhere between 40-60 odd kgs ligher than the 2013 v8 engine/spec of car, impressive indeed.

@Motorsport_IT No they're not. Refueling is not an option. Too many possible hazards, doesn't bring any sporting advantage and people forget it doesn't really did anything when we had it. So no, they will never reintroduce refueling.
