And met with the words " we owe it to the people who died alongside us, we have to continue living." Leon wasn’t just saving Buddy, he was saving a reflection of the man he once was. Back in Raccoon City, the horrors he witnessed when he was a rookie cop pushed him to the edge.

He once confessed to his friend Adam that after witnessing the nightmare of that city, he thought about ending it with a quick bullet to the head, but he didn't do it. Because of the little Sherry, who needed someone to fight for her. She gave him a reason to keep going.

And now, years later, he saw the same burden in Buddy’s eyes. In the epilogue, buddy continued his former occupation as a teacher. He still held onto the flask Leon had given him, as a reminder of the man who saved him and gave him a purpose in life once again.

This is why Damnation is the best RE movie, it has such good writing.

Without a shadow of a doubt, the only movie that deserve 10/10 in every aspect.

Before he was in a wheelchair right..?

Leon shot him once to sever the Plaga's attachment to his spinal cord, but he was paralyzed in the process. He remained in a wheelchair for the rest of his life after that.
