The first All-Starr band could get it

Ringo, Clarence Clemons, Joe Walsh, Rick Danko, Dr. John, Levon Helm, and I think Billy Preston was there somewhere too. Such an insane lineup.

Yes! You can really Billy Preston in the backing vocals.

He’s had some great lineups over the years with Burton Cummings, Eric Carmen, Richard Marx, Todd Rundgren, Edgar Winter, Joe Walsh, Steve Lukather, etc. Very tough for big names to block out a couple of months to tour with him, but they do it for him!

Am I crazy for saying there’s more talent on this stage than on the rooftop? Not dissin Beatles, but Levon, Dr John, Danko and Billy Preston on the same stage is some sort of dark magic

80s Rick Danko

Live at the Greek theater 2019 is a really great album, I actually prefer his “Don’t Pass Me By” on that than the White Album recording

my fave iteration of the band

Danko

Pro tip: Ringo drumming makes every group of musicians he plays with good. At the least, good, usually very good.

Rick mf Danko and Levon mf Helm !!!! amazing fucking lineup

Is that Nils Lofgren next to Rick Danko at 0:06, 0:11, and 0:41?

Rhythm meets rock royalty.

I do prefer the original!

I saw them in Vancouver! All killer, no filler!

Saw this show, it was incredible!!!

There was a few shows that tour that Garth Hudson joined them. Garth makes it the best incarnation of the all star band ever!

Much bigger band than the last few. There are only 3 All-Starrs in the current band (plus 3 great session guys and Ringo)

Hey is that nils lofgren?

Yes saw them in 1989 at Blossom in Ohio. Fun night!

Is getting it good or bad?

yep, absolutely no talent there at all.....

I think this is the version I saw 92 or 93... Had meet n greet from a radio station and was mad because Ringo was a different VIP level. But I met Nils and Timothy. No cell phones. Never got the 8x10 from the Alberto VO5 sales rep. Bummer.
