oh my god, I literally just talked to a Philippino about their bad internet yesterday. I asked about Starlink, and he couldn't provide an answer as to why, but he said that there are challenges with it. Although I'm not even sure he knew what I was talking about when I said Starlink. Do you know what he's talking about? Are there challenges with Starlink that Astranis are well situated to compensate for?

will this be affordable? because starlink is really expensive..I hope there will be options where regular workers in the Philippines can still afford this

Is this ELON’s STARLINK??? Or another entity? We are waiting for Elon’s Starlink not this “ASTRANIS”.

Starlink is already in the Philippines! We believe both can help connect the country.

Who is the owner of this company and who is over that company?

We're an independent company! Just 400 people working to make a new kind of satellite.

My Filipina wife and I live here in the Philippines, we are blessed to have local internet (Converge) as well Starlink. But this is even better news for these places where it very hard to reach with cable and only satellites will reach them. Kudos to Astranis!
