Welcome initiative as majority of people will cooperate with voluntary code of conduct once their awareness is raised but a recalcitrant selfish minority will ignore & their behaviour will be enough to impact wildlife, so we also need enforcement: regulations & fines if breached?

Progress on Construction of World’s Largest Wildlife Crossing in Southern California The Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing is set to span over the 101 Freeway in Southern California, connecting the Santa Monica Mountains and the Simi Hills. The crossing will facilitate safe passage for wildlife over the busy freeway The bridge, located near the Liberty Canyon Road exit in Agoura Hills, is about 210 feet long and 174 feet wide, according to Caltrans (the California Department of Transportation). The wildlife crossing will be the largest of its kind in the world Caltrans estimates the total cost for the project will be $92 million. It is expected to be completed in 2026

It will defund and disband Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and the commission there now will be gone” The state will now be able to dictate what happens on your private land if they deem it ‘environmentally necessary’

Even though it's a dull day there is still no rain forecast for most places, and our wildlife are dying of thirst. All natural sources have dried up, and every single hedgehog through these doors is suffering from extreme dehydration. Please put a dish of water out, in the front as well as the back, so all animals can access it. And if there's a nearby green space where wildlife frequent, please put a tub of water out. Carrying fresh water to it each day will tone your arms, get your steps in, and when you see the water level has gone down in the morning I guarantee you will feel good and virtuous all day.🥰

Two minutes is all it took. Between me leaving the water for wildlife and the birds mobbing it. Just look at their delight!😍 Drinking and bathing - all that joy from just a turn of the tap from me. This week will be very hot and most natural sources of water have dried up. Please provide water for our wildlife. Day and night. You'll never find an easier, more satisfying way to save a life.

The Tamil Nadu Forest and wildlife crime control Bureau launched in August 2023 by CM Thiru M.K.Stalin has started full fledged operations. So far 256 Forest and wildlife offences have been detected of which 79 cases have been remanded under the wildlife protection Act and 161 cases have been compounded. Compounded amount of Rs.50,74,800 has been collected. TNFWCCB is also working on campaigns to create awareness. Parakeet awareness campaign in Madurai zone was one such successful campaign which led to the voluntary surrender of 730 parakeets.The Bureau is equipped with modern gadgets and software. How do you get a cheetah in a crate? Good question! In Somaliland, the Bandit Group - a coalition of five adolescent male cheetahs – is getting ready to move from the ‘cub area’ to a large, new enclosure. And, for the first time since arriving at the Cheetah Rescue and Conservation Centre (CRCC) as young cubs, they will be transported in crates. To prepare the cats, staff at the CRCC have been gradually getting the cheetahs used to the crates they will be using for the relocation. So far, the group is making amazing progress! At least, they seem to like using the crates as furniture! A sanctuary and rehabilitation center for cheetahs rescued from the illegal wildlife trade and cases of human-wildlife conflict, today the CRCC is home to almost 100 cheetahs – including the Bandit Group.
